Präzisions Kamera Werke in Munich (München, Germany), manufacturer of medium and large-format cameras, known above all for its “Technika” cameras. The company was founded in 1887 by Valentin Linhof (1854 – 1929), initially to produce and sell photographic leaf shutters of own design. First all-metal camera was manufactured in 1889.
