Cover of a letter sent from Warszawa (Poland) by Franciszek Rosenbaum to the company [NPG] NEUE PHOTOGRAPHISCHE GESELLSCHAFT in Berlin (Germany). The NPG company was a manufacturer of photographic paper that successfully marketed bromide photographic paper production “by the kilometre”, and automatic printing of photographs and postcards, using patents and machinery from American company Rotograph of New York. The company was founded in 1894 by Arthur Schwarz (1862 – 1944) in Berlin.
