Folded postcard, with a card for reply (back of) sent from Wernigerode (Germany) to Dr. E. Stenger in Charlottenburg (Berlin, Germany), lecturer at the Technical College Chair and Institute for Applied Photochemistry [Technische Hochschule Lehrstuhl und Institut für Angewandte Photochemie] in Berlin-Charlottenburg (Germany). E. Stenger (1878 – 1957) was a chemist, involved in photographic chemistry, inventor in that field and educator. Author of numerous books and publications on photography, and on history of photography. Also keen collector of photographs and active philatelist.
