Business stationery (cover) used by the photographic store HANS FREY Articulos Fotograficos in Valparaiso (Chile). The store was founded in 1886 by Hans Frey, Swiss-born photographer who as a 21-year-old man settled in Valparaiso. The Hans Frey company - which over the years set branches also in Santiago, Coquimbo, Antofagasta, Concepción and Temuco - was fundamental to facilitating access to photographic techniques and equipment, contributing not only to the professional development of photography in Chile, but also to bring it closer amateur photographers.
