Business stationery (cover) used by the company KW - KAMERA WERKSTÄTTEN Guthe & Thorsch G.m.b.H. in Dresden (Germany), camera manufacturer. The letter was addressed to E. [Edward] JANUSZ in Rzeszów, photographic portrait studio. It was established by Edward Janusz (1850 – 1914) and it was considered one of the best in Galicia. He obtained the title of the royal court photographer in 1898. The studio was a family business, managed after his death by his wife, and then by his daughters, and existed until 1951. E. Janusz was author of the first photographic exhibition in Rzeszów (1886).
