The company specializes in publications on photography (e.g. monthly journal FOTO MAGAZIN, Fritz Kempe’s “Daguerreotypie in Deutschland”, Eaton S. Lothrop Jr.’s “Geheimkameras” and many other books and manuals). W. Heering was also author of some of the books e. g. “Das Rolleiflex-Buch”. The publishing house was in 1970 bought out by the Swiss company Ringier Holding AG and later renamed to Ringier Germany GmbH. Ringier Germany had been disbanded in 2001.
