Stamp, in form of a souvenir sheet, issued to commemorate the 60th anniversary of death of ALBERT EINSTEIN (1879 – 1955), German-born American theoretical physicist. The design of the margin of the stamp (side-turned image) was based on a photographic portrait taken in 1948 by Canadian portrait photographer YOUSUF KARSH (1908 – 2002).
