Business stationery (postcard, front of) used by the company EVANS, SONS & Co. in Liverpool (Great Britain). Initially, it was a small business established in 1828 by John Evens in London as a manufacturing company of chemists and druggists. As the business prospered a branch in Liverpool was opened in 1833. In 1894 a photographic department was established and a line of cameras was manufactured there e.g. (field cameras) “Barts”, “Pembroke”, “Hanover”, (folding cameras) “Pool, “Bart” and (box cameras) “Mersey”.
