Red meter advertising the company P. ANGÉNIEUX (factory in Saint-Héand, Loire, France), manufacturer of lenses for photography and cinematography. The company was founded in 1935 by Pierre Angénieux (1907 – 1998), French engineer and optician. He was one of the inventors of the modern zoom lenses, and famous for introducing the Angénieux retrofocus (photographic wide-angle lens design that uses an inverted telephoto configuration).
