Business stationery (cover) used by the WENDT Studio in Boonton (New Jersey, USA), The Show People’s Photographer. The studio was owned by Frank Wendt (1858 – 1930). Wendt took over a studio owned by his mentor Charles Eisenmann on the Bowery in 1893 and ran it for five years before moving to New Jersey. He shot all manner of actors and child performers, also the circus “freaks”.
