Red meter advertising the company PHOTOGRPHIE GIRAUDON in Paris (France), photographic agency specializing in art, history and archeology. It was founded in 1877 as photographic publishing house by Adolphe Giraudon (1849 – 1929). In 1912 Adolphe sold it to his son Georges (1885 – 1970), and in 1953 the collection was bought by Larousse.
