Business stationery (cover) used by the studio E. van BOSCH in Strassburg (Germany/France). Emil van Bosch (1865 - 1920) was a studio photographer and manufacturer of photographic paper (1889 – 1920). The studio was bought in 1888 from Emil Schweitzer (1837–1904), a Strasbourg watercolor painter, draftsman and photographer, and until 1894 worked under the name “Van Bosch vormals E. Schweitzer“ [“Van Bosch formerly E. Schweitzer”]. After 1900 he abandoned the studio and turned into production of photographic paper as the company "E. van Bosch G.m.b.H.". The studio was taken over by M. Meier in 1911.
