Business stationery (cover) used by the company GERHARD SISTERS Photographers in St. Louis (Missouri, USA). Emme Gerhard (1872 – 1946) and her sister Mayme Gerhard (1876 – 1955) were among the first women to establish photographic studio in St. Louis in 1903. The studio was acquired from Fitz W. Guerin after his retirement. They developed new and original ideas and methods which were then applied by them to photography marking their style.
