Special cover with cancellation, both commemorating 150th anniversary of birth of MĀRTIŅŠ BUCLERS (1866 - 1944), Latvian photographer and publisher. In 1897 he opened photographic studio in Sigulda (Latvia). He was the first to open photographic shop in Latvia (1903), the first to publish photographic manual “Fotogrāfija” [“Photography”] (1904), and the first to set up a photographic association in this country (1906). In the years 1906 – 1908, and in 1912 – 1914 he published a journal on photography “Stari” [“Star”].
