Business stationery (cover of a registered letter, front of) used by the company OPTIKOTECHNA Gesellschaft m.b.H. in Prerau [Prerov]. The letter was addressed to the company Carl Zeiss in Jena (Germany). The company was established in 1933 by Alois Benes and Alois Mazurek to produce darkroom optical equipment. During WW II the company was taken over by German army to supply optical devices for military purposes. After the war the company was nationalized and renamed into MEOPTA.
