FDCover with stamp and special cancellation issued to honor centenary of birth of ROBERT CAPA (1913 – 1954), Hungarian-born [real name: Endre Ernő Friedmann] American war photographer and co-founder of the MAGNUM PHOTOS – international photographic cooperative. The stamp’s design is based on Capa’s photograph of a woman gathering a bundle of hay on a collective farm (Ukraine, August, 1947).
