Enoch Lloyd BRANSON (1853 – 1925) established a regional reputation as a broadly talented painter of portraits, crayon portraits, landscapes, genre and historical paintings. In 1879 he formed a partnership with photographer Frank McCrary to offer both photographic and painting portrait and advertising services in their studio in Knoxville.
