Red meter advertising the idea of a “Photocheque”. The slogan reads: “Photocheque – the key to your safety”. In early 1980s French banks, to avoid forged cheques, decided to introduce a solution consisting in using cheque forms with photograph of the issuer printed on them. The idea did not work and, after several attempts to use it in practice, it was abandoned.
