Business stationery (cover) used by THE PHOTO MATERIALS Co. in Rochester (New York, USA), a company dealing with cameras, photographic accessories and materials of own make and of other manufacturers. It was incorporated in 1892 by a chemist and inventor of celluloid film, former George Eastman employee, HENRY M. REICHENBACH, and two other partners (S. Carl Passavant and Gustave D. Milburn. The letter was addressed to E. & H. T. Anthony & Co. in New York, the largest supplier and distributor of photographic supplies in the US in the 19th century. The company produced a rather unsuccessful camera "Trochenette".
