Cover (unused) for general purpose issued to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of WW II [60 years of Victory in the Great National War]. The left-hand cachet shows reproduction of one of Yevgeni Khaldei’s (1917 – 1997) photographs of the Soviet Red Army soldiers mounting national flag at the roof of Reichstag building (Third Reich Parliament). The photograph was taken after the fall of Berlin in May 1945.
