Business stationery (unused cover) used by the company KAROL PĘCHERSKI Foto-Skład in Warsaw (Warszawa, Poland), photographic studio and shop, founded in 1926. It was owned by Karol Pęcherski (1885 – 1951), who used to run it for some time with his brother Stanisław (The Pęcherski Brothers [Bracia Pęcherscy]). He started working as a documentary photographer at the Historical Architecture Department of the Capital Reconstruction Office [Wydział Architektury Zabytkowej Biura Odbudowy Stolicy], and then at the Historic Preservation Office [Urząd Konserwatora Zabytków]. He worked there until his death, creating a huge documentation of the state of preservation of Warsaw buildings immediately after the war, primarily historic buildings
