Business stationery (cover) used by the company publishing the monthly magazine PHOTOGRAPHISCHE KORRESPONDENZ in Vienna (Wien, Austria).The journal was founded in 1864 by Ludwig Szafa, Carl Haack, Emil Hornig and Meletiusz Dutkiewicz, all members of the "Photographic Society" (PhG) in Vienna, and it soon gained international fame. In 1971, after more than 100 years, the magazine stopped publishing for economic reasons.
The letter was addressed to Mr. Ferdinand HRDLICZKA (1860 - 1942) [note the added letter in the name], Austrian chemist and photo industrialist, founder and shareholder of the photographic companies Herlango, and Lainer & Hrdliczka.
