Business stationery (cover) used by the company Verlag JULIUS SPRINGER in Vienna (Wien, Austria), publisher of the monthly magazine PHOTOGRAPHISCHE KORRESPONDENZ.
The journal was founded in 1864 by Ludwig Szafa, Carl Haack, Emil Hornig and Meletiusz Dutkiewicz, all members of the "Photographic Society" (PhG) in Vienna, and it soon gained international fame. In 1971, after more than 100 years, the magazine stopped publishing for economic reasons.
