Stamp of a 3-stamp set issued in form of a souvenir sheet honoring Irish poet and playwright Oscar Wilde (1854 – 1900), in 115th anniversary of death. It shows graphic representation of a photographic portrait (reversed horizontally) taken in 1892 by NAPOLEON SARONY (1821 - 1896), American portrait photographer and lithographer. The person shown in the background is an actress Margarita Xirgu playing role in the Wilde’s play “Salome”.
