Business stationery (postcard, back of) used by the company C. ANGERER & GOSCHL Photochemigraphische Kunstanstalt in Vienna (Wien, Austria). The company was founded in 1870 by C. Angerer (1838 – 1916), one of four Angerer brothers (Carl, Ludwig, Victor and August), who were founders of three independent companies of photographic industry. Carl developed revolutionary zinc-etching method and his brother-in-law A. Göschl (1848 – 1900) joined the company in 1873. Both wisely managed the company using various techniques and offering high quality services.
The card was addressed to the company C. J. Bucher A. G. in Luzern (Switzerland), publishing house known particularly for the influential monthly magazine “Camera” published from 1922 for almost 60 years onward.
