Business stationery (postcard, front of) used by research centers in DDR to request for scientic papers from inland and foreign universities. It was dated 8 May 1987 and was sent from the state enterprise VEB Filmfabrik Wolfen Fotochemisches Kombinat in Wolfen (Germany, DDR) to Dr. Czesław Mora, scientist in Technical University of Wroclaw (Poland). The stamped red frankmark advertises VEB Filmfabrik ORWO with a slogan "Freude am Bild" ["Joy of the Picture"].
