It was dated 8 May 1987 and was sent from the state enterprise VEB Filmfabrik Wolfen Fotochemisches Kombinat in Wolfen (Germany, DDR) to Dr. Czesław Mora, scientist in Technical University of Wroclaw (Poland). The stamped red frankmark advertises VEB Filmfabrik ORWO with a slogan "Freude am Bild" ["Joy of the Picture"].
