Information from the journal "Świat fotografii" (No. 13/1950, p. 62).

A photographic commission was established on the 4th of June 1949 at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Polish Committee for Standardization.
The commission included: prof. dr Witold Romer as the chairman, dr Tadeusz Cyprian as the president of PTF, inż. Mikołaj Iliński on behalf of PP "Film Polski" and two further members.
The Commission will develop or cooperate in the following areas: 1. Photosensitive materials; 2. Photographic procedures; 3. Chemicals and raw materials; 4. Specifying the exposure time; 5. Cinematography; 6. Cameras; 7. Projectors for still images and transparencies; 8. Laboratory devices; 9. Special techniques; 10. Photographic vocabulary; 11. Prints for work purposes; 12. Miscellaneous.
At the meeting, it was decided to proceed first to work on the subject of photosensitive materials, chemicals and vocabulary
