Katedra Fototechniki in Wrocław
In 1946, Prof. W. Romer organized Katedra Fototechniki, starting training students initially in the field of photography, and then specialists in the field of photographic chemistry, at the engineering and master's level. It was established at the request of the senate of the then merged universities of the University and Technical University of Wrocław, at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. It began operating on October 31, 1946, pursuant to Regulation No. 319 of the Minister of Education contained in the Official Journal of the Ministry of Education No. 11. The initiator of the establishment of this scientific and didactic institution as well as its main organizer and long-term manager was Prof. Witold Romer...."
