Business stationery (postcard, front of) used by the studio Photographie d’Art HENRI MANUEL in Paris (France). The studio was opened in 1900 by Henri Manuel (1874 - 1947) and his brother Gaston, to photograph personalities from the political and artistic world. The brothers separated before 1914 and Gaston with his other brother Lucien founded another photographic business. Besides his portrait activity Henri Manuel served also as the official photographer of the French government from 1914 to 1944.
