Business stationery (postcard, back of, with stamped card for reply ) used by the company H. A. HYATT of St. Louis (Missouri, USA), supplier of photographic goods of various manufacturers. The company was founded in 1868 by Henry A. Hyatt and with time it has become one of most prominent companies in the field of photography. In 1887 it also marketed several models of cameras of own make (based on the Kuhn patent) called Patent Stamp Portrait Cameras. One of them made 16 stamp-sized photographs on a single 4’ x 5’ plate. H. Hyatt published several books and photographic monthly journal PHOTO-MIRROR.
