Business stationery (cover, with relevant red advertising meter) used by SYGMA, a photo-press agency in Paris (France). It was set up by Robert Henrotte and other photographers from the Gamma agency in 1973, to become in time one of the world’s leading photo agencies. Its archive amounts 50 million images made by about 10 000 photographers. The agency was in 1999 taken over by Bill Gates’ private owned company CORBIS, and declared bankruptcy in 2010, shutting down all operations.
