Business stationery used by the company GUSTAV HEYDE (aka FEINMESS) of Dresden (Germany), manufacturer of optical instruments and also lenses for cameras. The company was founded in 1872 by G. Heyde under his own name. It was nationalized in 1949 and renamed to VEB FEINMESS. It still exists as Feinmess Dresden GmbH. Known are two photographic lenses made by G. Heyde – Bonar and Bonotar (both having 105 mm focal length) that were used for Belfoca (VEB Belca-Werk) and for Beirax (Woldemar Beier) cameras.
