FDCover of 1979 with stamp of 5-stamp set “Space exploration” [“Badanie kosmosu”]. The stamp honors NEIL ARMSTRONG, the first Moon-landing (1969) mission APOLLO 11 commander. The graphic representation presents him with EDC camera. The left-hand cachet shows graphic representation of a photograph taken by him of a bootprint impressed in the Moon’s dust by EDWIN “BUZZ” ALDRIN, pilot of Lunar Module (LM) “EAGLE”. It was used as a normal cover for correspondence, stamped with currently binding postage in 1998.
