Business stationery (cover) used by the company R[UDOLF]. KRÜGENER of Frankfurt (Germany), manufacturer of photographic equipment – cameras, lenses and chemicals. R. Krügener (1847 – 1913) was a chemical engineer and managed an AGFA branch in Frankfurt. His own company was founded in 1888 and named DR. RUDOLF KRÜGENER, PHOTOCHEMISCHES LABORATORIUM AND FABRIK PHOTOGRAPHISCHER APPARATE, FRANKFURT-BOCKENHEIM. The company produced about 100 models of cameras, among them a best-selling one named Krügenerische Taschenbuch Kamera (Dr. Krügener’s Pocketbook Camera), one of the smallest cameras at that time.
